Promote twinning

In order to boost project of island management, the PIM Initiative wanted to set up a partnership process between different islands of the Mediterranean to strengthen the sharing of knowledge and technical expertise between the managers of these remarkable sites, with often very close stakes, but also to promote exchanges of staff, representatives from institutions and local communities and / or elected people during special sessions, and why not to develop joint projects.

Through a twinning charter, the PIM Initiative hopes to build and strengthen links between these islands, within mediterranean countries with various sociocultural frameworks, and to promote and make improvement to each method.
